Thank you for expressing an interest in Culture Connect, Inc. Volunteers are essential to the success of Culture Connect, Inc.’s programs. By donating your time and talents, you help make a difference in the lives of our new friends and neighbors and help us to connect different cultural, social, ethnic, and linguistic groups.

These are some of the areas you can get involved in:

• Go-Betweener® Mentoring Program
  • Serve as a mentor to an immigrant or refugee child.
• Annual Fundraising Event
  • Serve on an Event Planning Committee such as food & beverage, sponsorships, logistics, entertainment, etc.
  • Volunteer on the day of the event.
• Grant Writing and Research
  • Gain experience in researching funding opportunities, building relationships with foundations, and writing grant proposals.
• Education & Advocacy
  • Become a Presenter, educating immigrants and refugees about their Language Access Rights.
  • Facilitate cultural competency workshops for the workplace setting.
  • Facilitate job preparedness workshops, such as networking, resume and coverletter writing, and interviewing skills.
• Media, Politics & Public Relations
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant news and legislation and develop pieces for distribution to Culture Connect constituents.
